Gathering Stones: Writing Poetry by the River

Want to write and be creative in community this summer? Join poet & outdoor educator Emilie Lygren for a poetry retreat in the Sierra Nevada mountains! This will be a supportive, generative workshop focused on writing poetry. Each day will include writing sessions and ample free time for hiking, swimming, napping, adventuring, and relaxing. Evenings will feature poetry readings, song sharing, games, and discussions on creativity. All levels of experience are welcome. If you’re new to poetry or have always wanted to try writing poetry but just haven’t gotten around with it, you’re especially welcome!
Cost: $500, plus meals and accommodations
